This structure reduces manufacturing steps, cutting processes, and cutting surfaces, as well as reducing raw material consumption. During installation, the ball mill head, with the cap and trunnion cast as a single piece, is welded directly to the mill housing, providing a reliable connection and saving time and effort.
The split end cap of the ball mill is made by casting the end cap and the trunnion separately, followed by assembling the two components during the ball mill assembly process. This effectively avoids several defects that can occur when the trunnion and end cap are cast together.
